FHA mortgage programs are designed to help creditworthy low-income and moderate-income families who do not meet requirements for conventional loans.  FHA loan programs are particularly beneficial to those buyers with less available cash.

VA Loan Benefits:

  • Ability to purchase a home with no down payment.

  • Credit guidelines for purchasing a new home are less stringent.

  • The Veterans Administration insures the loan but does require a funding fee that is typically financed into the mortgage.

  • The funding fee may be waived for veterans that have a war related disability.

  • A loan limit may apply.
